Students are not just the future - they are here and ready to make an impact. At Momentum, we believe students matter. Amplify is a ministry for students in 6-12th grade. We aim to help students win by encouraging them to develop relationships with each other and with adult mentors who will ultimately point them towards a relationship with God. We meet Sunday nights during the school year, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Students can expect fun games, worship, relevant teaching and meaningful friendships in the form of small group discussions.
In addition to the fun of our weekly meetings, Amplify also enjoys other activities throughout the school year including: holiday parties, service projects, winter sports, game nights, bonfires, movie nights and so much more. You won’t want to miss a thing!
Each fall, Amplify heads to a retreat called Freakout. Specific to Momentum, Freakout is an opportunity to connect with nature, connect with friends and connect with God.
Every summer, we travel to Round Lake Christian Camp to attend Connect and it is the best week of your life, hands down.
We are currently in our Fall 2026 semester. We will meet most Sundays from September to December. See the semester schedule linked below for more details.

FREAKOUT 2026
Freakout is the student retreat for Amplify student ministry. You won't want to miss this weekend of fun and friends.
When: Friday, November 13th at 7:00pm to Sunday, November 15th at 9:00am.
Where: Stony Glen Camp - 5300 W Loveland Rd, Madison, OH 44057
Price: $40.00 per student - includes lodging, meals, snacks, activities and a hoodie!
Registration opens Friday, September 18th.
Due to the large number of students who participate in Freakout, we are no longer able to offer carpooling. You are more than welcome to work out carpooling arrangements among parent groups, but we are unable to provide it ourselves. amplify thanksgiving dinner
Amplify is celebrating Thanksgiving! Momentum is providing turkey and ham, but we would love your help with the rest of the meal. Please refer to the sign up genius LINK for more details.
Registration is not required to attend the Amplify Thanksgiving Dinner, but it is extremely helpful to the planning process.

When: Sunday, December 13th - 6pm-8pm
Where: Roseland Bowling Lanes - 26383 Broadway Ave, Oakwood, OH 44146 *Students will be dropped off and picked up at Roseland.*
What: 2 hours of bowling, including shoes, 2 slices of pizza, unlimited soda and Christmas cookies
Cost: $22 per person ***There is also a snack stand for additional food options, if desired.***

We are excited to launch a brand new tool for parents at Momentum. If you have a student aged birth-12th grade, this new app is for you. The Parent Cue app gives parents a wealth of information to help you lead your children spiritually. By downloading the app and connecting your account to Momentum Church, you will be directly connected to everything going on in MoKids and/or Amplify.
