The God of the Bible is a FireStarter. He starts movements of life-change, creativity, love, service, and compassion that spread rapidly and cannot be extinguished. The Book of Acts is a book in the Bible about the beginning of the Church not long after Jesus rose from the grave in the First Century. It is about how God’s Spirit worked through everyday people to start positive fires that spread rapidly throughout the world. Some of which are still burning today in Cleveland…

In a country where the Christian faith appears to be dominated by men, the truth is that 60% of the people who claim to follow Jesus are females. Women are easily today’s heroes of the faith, and we owe a lot to them for their hard work and sacrifice.

But, in the midst of the American church’s “gender gap,” Momentum continues to be a church where the masculine spirit is still alive and well…

Challenge. Risk. Sweat. Blood. Explosions. Action. Adventure. Leadership. Danger.

The Bible tells us about a patriarch named Abraham whose life contained all of the above. He was a dude’s dude…and a man of great faith. “The Man Series” takes a look at our need for strong, bold, adventurous guys (like Abraham) in Greater Cleveland and in churches like Momentum.
