Hard Knock Life
Cleveland has seen a lot of hard times over the last several decades. Since the economy tanked, times have been even harder. Word? And as many of you know, Forbes recently dubbed Cleveland as America’s most miserable city in 2010. Thanks, Forbes.
Because of this, Momentum is going to spend eight straight weeks looking at the toughness and perspective that comes from hard times. Along with Little Orphan Annie and Jay-Z, there’s a guy in the Bible named Joseph who was a walking example of this. He suffered a lot at the hands of his family, his employer, fast women, the government, and the prison system. His life is jam-packed with lessons for us on how to take it on the chin, live a life of character, forgive your enemies, and prepare for suffering – even if you currently have everything going for you.
