Service Times and Directions
Ever lost your car keys somewhere in your house? Ever lost your cell phone knowing the battery was dead? Ever lost your kid among the numerous clothing racks at the mall?
If so, you know what God means when he says that his heart beats for things – scratch that – people who are lost, wandering, searching, or scared. He wants the lost to be found…

Mo Ministry Teams
Momentum believes that God has given us all unique talents, interests and personalities. One of the reasons God gave us these special gifts is so we can use them to love God, love people and serve the world. The paid ministry staff isn’t the only group of people that has the ability to love, encourage and teach others. “Ministry” is just a fancy word for “service.” We want everyone to see how it feels to make a difference in someone else’s life by using their gifts to serve the world.
Enter: Mo Ministry Teams.
Whether you have been going to church all of your life or Momentum is the first church that you have checked out, we’d love to have you jump in, join a team and make a positive impact on the people around you! Maybe that means helping with some grunt work or decorations—like setting up tables (Frontline Team), sound equipment (Worship Support Team) and the kids’ classes (MoKidz Team). No experience needed. There are also plenty of “specialty” areas like painting, graphic design, video editing, tech A/V, acting, writing, singing, etc.
Mo Teams are designed to get everyone involved somewhere and to help people discover and develop their gifts.
Generates ideas for music, videos, paintings, skits, improv, etc. that paint a picture of the weekly Sunday morning topics to us.

Provides service projects and other opportunities for Momentum to be the hands and feet of God in our community – i.e., raking people’s leaves for free, giving food to the homeless, taking cold bottles of water to thirsty walkers on the Towpath, etc.
Plans and executes outreach events to “Wow” our community with love – i.e., free family festivals, info BBQs for people interested in Momentum, etc.
Provides opportunities to meet in smaller communities of 8-12 people throughout the week.
Provides a fun and safe ministry where kids come learn about Jesus. This is a high priority at Mo. We want to make them wake up every day asking, “Mommy, is it Sunday morning yet?”
