The God of the Bible is a FireStarter. He starts movements of life-change, creativity, love, service, and compassion that spread rapidly and cannot be extinguished. The Book of Acts is a book in the Bible about the beginning of the Church not long after Jesus rose from the grave in the First Century. It is about how God’s Spirit worked through everyday people to start positive fires that spread rapidly throughout the world. Some of which are still burning today in Cleveland…

Welcome to MoKidz!

Our Goal:

Our goal is for your kids to wake up every morning, rub the crust out of their eyes, and ask, “Mommy, is it Sunday yet?”

There are a lot of young singles and couples hanging out at Momentum with little Mini-Me’s, often elementary-age or younger, orbiting around them as they walk the halls of Cinemark Theatre. So we have created a Sunday morning children’s ministry (birth through 5th grade) called MoKidz that will have those little dudes and dudettes begging their parents to let them come and learn about God every week.

What goes on in MoKidz:

Your children are one of our highest priorities at Mo. While you are learning and enjoying stuff in the main service, you have the optional opportunity to let your kids interact with other kids their own age—playing games, singing songs, constructing crafts, and hearing stories and timeless principles from the Bible. Adam & Eve, Noah, the Ten Commandments, Esther, David & Goliath, the Christmas story of Christ’s birth, the miracles of Jesus, the Easter story of His resurrection from the dead, the Golden Rule (“Do to others what you would want them to do to you”)…stuff every kid should, but often doesn’t get the opportunity, to learn. And, honestly—stuff they probably won’t learn (because of the way we teach it) in the main service.

Checking In:

You will be greeted by our check-in team members. If you are a first time guest, they will provide you with a form to fill out. Please fill this out as completely as possible. This will ensure that we have all the emergency contact info we need, plus it will allow us to get to know your family better.

Your kids’ security is Mo’s biggest concern. We want kids to be safe…and parents to be worry-free. All MoKidz volunteers have thorough background checks done before they are able to volunteer with the children. And no one will be able to wander into the kids’ classes without going through our security check-points. And, when your kids need you, the number on their name tag given to you at drop-off will show up on the screen in main service and you can come to their room.

• Birth to Crawlers
• Walkers to 2 Years Old
• 3 Years Old to Pre-K
• Kindergarten to 5th Grade
